Role Description
We are looking for a dedicated Accountant to join our team on a full-time basis. This on-site role, based in Chennai, involves managing financial records, preparing annual budgets, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. The Accountant will also be responsible for generating financial reports, coordinating audits, processing payroll, and assisting management with financial planning and decision-making. Attention to detail and an understanding of financial best practices are pivotal to success in this role.
Qualifications
- Proficient in Accounting, Financial Reporting, and Budget Preparation
- Strong skills in Tax Compliance, Auditing, and Regulatory Adherence
- Proficiency in Financial Software and Tools (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally)
- Analytical skills for Financial Planning, Forecasting, and Decision Support
- Excellent Organizational and Time Management Abilities
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CPA or CA are a plus
- Work experience in the EV industry or related sectors is advantageous
