They are responsible for preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, managing tax filings, processing payroll, and providing financial forecasts to guide management decisions.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting: Prepare and maintain essential financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.Compliance & Tax: Compute taxes owed, prepare/file tax returns, and ensure strict adherence to local tax regulations and accounting standards (e.g., GAAP or IFRS).Bookkeeping & Ledgers: Record daily transactions, manage accounts payable and receivable, and reconcile bank statements.Auditing: Inspect financial records for accuracy, efficiency, and to identify and prevent discrepancies or risks of fraud.Budgeting & Analysis: Analyze financial performance, develop budgets, and provide forecasts to support strategic business decisions.Required Qualifications & SkillsEducation: A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.Certifications: Professional qualifications such as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) strongly enhance career prospects.Technical Proficiencies: Advanced knowledge of accounting software (such as QuickBooks, Tally, NetSuite, or Sage) and high proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including pivot tables and advanced formulas).Analytical Skills: Strong mathematical abilities and sharp problem-solving skills to interpret complex financial data
