About the Role

Nexbase is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage the accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting functions for both our US and India entities. This role requires hands-on expertise in US and Indian accounting and tax regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting for US and India entities.
• Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger activities.
• Prepare monthly financial reports and management statements.
• Ensure compliance with US and Indian tax laws, including tax filings and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate payroll processing and related tax compliance.
• Work with external CPAs, auditors, and tax consultants.
• Manage intercompany transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce.
• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Mandatory: Proven experience handling accounting and taxation for both US and India entities.
• Strong knowledge of:
• US Federal and State Taxes
• Indian GST, TDS, and Income Tax
• Financial Reporting and Compliance
• Experience with QuickBooks
• Strong Excel and analytical skills.

Must-Have Requirements

• Hands-on experience managing accounting, taxation, and compliance for both US and Indian businesses.
• Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks.
• Ability to work independently and manage multi-entity accounting operations.
