Role Description The Accountant role at Naukripay group is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Bengaluru Area. The Accountant will manage daily bookkeeping activities, including posting journal entries, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, processing payments, managing accounts receivable and payable, and assisting with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing. The role also involves preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and tax regulations, and coordinating with internal teams and external auditors. The Accountant will contribute to process improvements by identifying discrepancies, recommending corrective actions, and maintaining organized documentation for audits and management reviews.

- Strong core accounting skills, including general ledger management, account reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with the ability to work with spreadsheets, formulas, and financial models.
- Knowledge of taxation, compliance requirements, and relevant accounting standards applicable to the local regulatory environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, documentation, and record-keeping, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with internal teams, clients, and auditors in a professional manner.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced, on-site work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field; professional certifications (e.g., CA/CPA/CMA or equivalent) are an advantage.
- Prior experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably within a services or HR/talent-solutions environment, is beneficial.
