Accountant

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Accountant to join our R&D Centre. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to the overall financial health and integrity of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements, management reports, budgets, and financial analyses to support business decision-making.

• Month-End & Year-End Closing: Manage and support month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial adjustments.

• Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, perform bank reconciliations, and monitor cash flow.

• Transaction Review: Review and verify financial transactions to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Tax Compliance: Prepare and support the filing of tax returns and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulatory requirements.

• Audit Support: Coordinate and provide supporting documentation for internal and external audits, ensuring proper record-keeping and timely resolution of audit queries.

• Internal Controls: Maintain and strengthen accounting processes and internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance.

• Business Support: Work closely with internal stakeholders, internal auditors and management to provide financial insights and support business and operational initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Degree/Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline, with a recognized accounting qualification/certificate.

• Minimum 5 years of relevant accounting experience, with hands-on experience in full-spectrum financial accounting and reporting.

• Prior experience working in F&F industries is preferred.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and relevant regulatory requirements.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

• Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment.

• Strong attention to detail, integrity, and a high level of accountability.
