Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant based in Varanasi. The Accountant will handle bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, audit support, and tax filings. Daily responsibilities include maintaining financial records, ensuring regulatory compliance, preparing tax documents, and assisting with audits. The role also involves generating financial reports, managing invoices, and maintaining smooth communication with both clients and internal teams.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in bookkeeping, payroll processing, and financial statement preparation
- Solid understanding of income tax, sales tax, and other taxation principles
- Expertise in audit processes for internal and external audits
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in accounting software, such as Tally or QuickBooks, and Microsoft Excel
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Prior experience in an accounting or auditing role is an advantage
