Location: Pirana Gate, Near Aslali, Ahmedabad
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Ahmedabad. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial transactions, including bookkeeping, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger entries. Responsibilities include preparing invoices, tracking payments, maintaining accurate records of transport-related expenses, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The role also involves assisting with budgeting, basic financial analysis, tax and statutory compliance, and coordinating with operations and management to ensure accurate cost allocation. The Accountant will work closely with internal teams to streamline finance processes and support timely reporting to leadership.

Qualifications
- Strong skills in bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger management.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, bank reconciliations, and basic financial analysis.
- Knowledge of taxation, statutory compliance, and accounting standards applicable in India.
- Experience using accounting software and MS Excel for data entry, reporting, and reconciliation.
- Excellent attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and meet deadlines.
- Relevant educational background such as a degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
- Prior experience in logistics, transport, or a similar operational environment is an advantage.
