About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team at our Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), Mumbai location.

The Accountant will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting activities, maintaining accurate financial records, handling accounts payable and receivable, performing bank reconciliations, preparing invoices, and supporting monthly and annual financial closing activities.

The ideal candidate should have strong accounting fundamentals, good knowledge of Tally/ERP systems and MS Excel, and an understanding of GST and applicable tax compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day accounting and financial transactions.
  • Record and maintain accurate accounting entries and general ledgers.
  • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable.
  • Prepare and process customer and vendor invoices.
  • Perform regular bank and ledger reconciliations.
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
  • Prepare standard financial reports and accounting statements.
  • Support budgeting, expense monitoring, and cost-tracking activities.
  • Maintain proper documentation and records for accounting transactions.
  • Assist with GST, taxation, and other statutory compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal departments regarding invoices, payments, expenses, and financial documentation.
  • Coordinate with external auditors, consultants, and other relevant parties when required.
  • Ensure accounting records are maintained accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Identify discrepancies in financial records and assist in resolving accounting issues.
  • Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as required.

Required Qualifications & Skills
  • 3–5 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Tally and/or ERP accounting software.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and bank reconciliation.
  • Understanding of GST, taxation, and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Experience supporting month-end and year-end closing.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under deadlines.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with different departments in an on-site environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in a manufacturing, trading, or industrial organization.
  • Experience working with accounting/ERP systems in a business environment.
  • Professional accounting qualifications or certifications will be considered an advantage.
