Accountant

Inventive Seeds Pvt. Ltd. (ISP) is a progressive startup seed company focused on enhancing farmers productivity through innovative hybrid seeds. Headquartered near Bengaluru, ISP has a state-of-the-art R&D center equipped with advanced greenhouse facilities and biotechnology labs. Specializing in high-yield, pest-resistant, and disease-resistant hybrids for vegetable, field, oil, and fodder crops, the company addresses the needs of farmers worldwide. Additionally, ISP produces organic fertilizers, including vermi-compost and phosphate-rich organic manure, designed to enhance soil health and improve crop yield through sustainable farming practices.

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role based in Agra. The Accountant will manage day-to-day financial activities, including bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, tax filing, and payroll processing. Responsibilities also include preparing financial reports, reconciling bank statements, managing budgets, and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations. The Accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records and providing insights for informed decision-making.

• Proficiency in financial accounting, budgeting, and analytical skills
• Experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliation, and payroll management
• Advanced knowledge of accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, or similar tools
• Strong understanding of tax laws, financial compliance, and regulatory standards
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage deadlines, work under pressure, and prioritize tasks effectively
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CA, or ACCA are a plus
