Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Construction Accountant to manage project-wise accounting, vendor payments, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The role requires strong expertise in GST, TDS, billing, site expense tracking, and account finalization, along with hands-on experience in Tally and advanced Excel

Key Responsibilities

Project & Site Accounting

• Maintain project-wise accounts and cost tracking
• Monitor site expenses, labour payments, and material costs
• Track budget vs actual project costs

Billing & Vendor Management

• Handle contractor billing, client invoicing, and purchase orders (POs)
• Verify and process vendor bills and subcontractor payments
• Maintain vendor ledgers and reconciliation

GST & TDS Compliance

• Manage GST returns, reconciliation, and filings
• Handle TDS calculation, deduction, and compliance

Banking & Reconciliation

• Perform bank reconciliation and cash flow tracking
• Reconcile vendor accounts and project ledgers

Accounts Finalization

• Assist in monthly/annual closing and finalization
• Support audit processes and documentation
• Ensure accurate financial reporting and calculations

Systems & Reporting

• Work on Tally ERP for accounting and reporting
• Use Excel (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, Pivot Tables mandatory)
• Prepare MIS and project cost reports
