About The Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Part-Time Accountant to manage critical accounting functions
across multiple entities. This is a remote position requiring approximately five working days per month, offering
flexibility while demanding a high degree of professionalism, accuracy, and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
Account Reconciliation
Perform end-to-end reconciliation of accounts across multiple companies, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and
timely resolution of discrepancies.
Statutory Tax Filings
Prepare and file Goods and Services Tax (GST) returns and Value Added Tax (VAT) returns in full compliance
with applicable Indian tax regulations and within prescribed deadlines.
Month-End and Period-End Closing
Execute book-closing activities including preparation of adjusting entries, accruals, and deferrals to ensure
financial statements are accurate and complete at each reporting period.
Invoice and Bank Statement Matching
Reconcile vendor and customer invoices against bank statements, identify and investigate variances, and
maintain a clear and auditable trail of all transactions.
Qualifications And Requirements
A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or a closely related
function.
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline. Professional certifications
(CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent) are preferred.
Strong working knowledge of Indian GST and V AT regulations and filing procedures.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
Experience managing accounts across multiple legal entities or group companies.
Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and communicate effectively in a remote working
environment.
Working Arrangement
Commitment: 5 days per month (schedule to be mutually agreed upon).
Mode: Fully remote.
Communication: Regular coordination via email, video calls, or messaging platforms as required.
