Role Description

This is an internship role for an Accountant, offering a hybrid working arrangement based in Gurugram with the flexibility of some remote work. The selected candidate will be responsible for key tasks, including bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, reconciliations, managing accounts payable and receivable, assisting in budgeting processes, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Interns will also have the opportunity to support audits and learn about financial systems and software tools.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in bookkeeping, maintaining ledgers, and preparing financial statements
  • Skills in using accounting software and Excel, such as generating reports and managing financial data
  • Knowledge of financial regulations, taxation, and compliance requirements
  • Attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving capabilities
  • Strong analytical and numerical aptitude with a focus on accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
  • Pursuing or completing a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience with GST, TDS, and other accounting principles is a must.
