Accountant Hotel Experience Only

Lake View Hotel, a unit of Stay Blessed, is seeking an experienced Hotel Accountant only to manage day-to-day financial operations, statutory compliance, and reporting for the property. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in hotel accounting and a strong understanding of OTA reconciliation, taxation, and financial reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily revenue verification and reconciliation
• Conduct OTA reconciliation (Booking.com, MakeMyTrip, Goibibo, Agoda, etc.)
• Verify Front Office and Night Audit reports
• Prepare and file GST returns
• Calculate, deduct, and file TDS
• Manage Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• Prepare Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS)
• Verify vendor invoices and process payments
• Monitor and reconcile petty cash
• Close monthly accounts and prepare MIS reports
• Follow up on corporate receivables and outstanding payments
• Coordinate with internal and statutory auditors
• Maintain accounting records and supporting documentation
• Ensure compliance with statutory and taxation requirements
• Prepare and submit financial reports to management
• Verify departmental expenses and inventory-related transactions
• Assist in budget preparation and cost control initiatives
• Maintain confidentiality of financial information and records

Requirements

• Previous experience in hotel accounting operations (mandatory)
• Proficiency in Tally and MS Excel
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
• Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or related field preferred
