Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Accountant role located in Mumbai. The Accountant will oversee financial record-keeping, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Responsibilities include managing budgets, preparing tax returns, reconciling accounts, and handling accounts payable and receivable.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting
• Experience with bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
• Strong knowledge of tax regulations and compliance
• Competency in financial software and tools, such as Tally, Excel, ERP systems, or equivalent software
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional qualifications such as CPA, CA, or equivalent are an asset
