Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position for an Accountant, located in Tiruppur, Tamil Nadu. The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, managing budgets, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with applicable financial regulations. Additional responsibilities include handling taxation matters, processing payroll, and assisting in audits, all while collaborating with internal teams for efficient financial management.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in financial accounting, general ledger accounting, and account reconciliations
- Experience with budget management, cost control, and financial reporting
- Strong knowledge of taxation, payroll processing, and compliance regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to meet deadlines
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- Professional certifications such as CA/CPA/CMA are a plus
- Working knowledge of the textiles or manufacturing industry is an added advantage
