Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible
Junior Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting activities. The candidate should have basic knowledge of accounting, GST compliance, income tax returns, and banking operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally / accounting software
- Prepare and maintain sales, purchase, and expense records
- Assist in GST work:
- GST return filing (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.)
- GST reconciliation and compliance
- Assist in Income Tax (ITR) preparation and filing
- Handle banking-related work:
- Bank reconciliation statements (BRS)
- Cheque deposits, payments, and follow-ups
- Maintain proper documentation and accounting records
- Assist senior accountant with monthly and yearly closing
- Coordinate with CA for audits and compliance work
Desired Profile / Criteria / Skills :Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of Accounting principles
- Working knowledge of GST, ITR, and banking processes
- Familiarity with Tally, MS Excel
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
