Experience Required

12 years of accounting experience preferred

Qualifications

B.Com / CA (Inter) preferred

About the Role

We are looking for a diligent and methodical Accountant who can take ownership of day-to-day financial operations, ensure accuracy in accounting entries, and maintain compliance with statutory requirements. The role involves handling financial categorization, bill management, payroll, and GST filings while supporting financial transparency and accuracy across all business processes.

The ideal candidate will be analytical, discreet, and persistent, someone who ensures all financial records are accurate, up to date, and well-documented.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately categorize expenses and revenue across multiple business verticals.
  • Maintain organized bill-keeping and documentation of all transactions.
  • Process vendor payments, refunds, and TA (Travel Allowance) calculations in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and maintain balance sheets, cash flow statements, and other financial reports.
  • Ensure accurate and timely GST filing and compliance with taxation norms.
  • Support internal audits, reconciliations, and month-end financial closures.
  • Maintain data accuracy and consistency across all financial software and ledgers.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data validation).
  • Exposure to financial software or programming tools (R/Python preferred).
  • Diligent, methodical, and highly organized approach to record-keeping.
  • Analytical thinking for reconciliation and variance analysis.
  • Discretion and integrity in handling confidential financial data.
  • Persistence in following up and closing open financial items.
