Accountant

Owned and operated by Sherwood Longstay Pvt Ltd, FF21 manages multiple properties with a growing resident base and an equally growing finance function. 

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, hands-on experience with ERP/accounting software, and excellent analytical skills to manage day-to-day financial operations accurately. You'll work with the directly with a Finance Manager, CFO and with even the management team.

Responsibilities:

• Bookkeeping & entries
• Daily entries in Zoho Books — vendor bills, expense vouchers, bank transactions tagging
• PO-linked purchase processing — every bill must be matched to a Purchase Order before booking
• Process vendor bills as per approval matrix before entry
• Maintain chart of accounts discipline 
• Apt with Reconciliations - payment gateway, bank and GST 
• Assist in GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance activities
• Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
• Take complete ownership for Month-end closing 
• Maintain Fixed asset register and inventory registers on ERP
• Support internal and external audit requirements
• Prepare data for monthly MIS as directed by Finance Manager / CFO

Qualifications:

• B.Com or M.Com with 3–5 years of hands-on accounting experience, OR
• CA Inter / ACCA is an added advantage Must-have skills
• Strong knowledge of accounting and taxation principles 
• Knowledge of GST, TDS and Zoho Books
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and AI basics
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Good coordination and teamwork skills
• Experience in hospitality, co-living, or real estate accounting is an added bonus
