Accountant (FC) - US GAAP -SAAS

Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant with strong exposure to US-based accounting. The role will be responsible for managing end-to-end accounting operations, cash flow planning, financial reporting, and supporting investor and management reporting. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with US GAAP, strong analytical skills, and comfort working with cross-border stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:-

Accounting & Financial Reporting

Manage end-to-end accounting operations including GL, AP, AR, accruals, and month-end close

Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with US GAAP

Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting

Support statutory and internal audits, including coordination with external auditors

Cash Flow & Treasury

Monitor daily cash positions and manage short-term and long-term cash flow planning

Prepare cash flow forecasts and liquidity analysis

Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis

Investor & Management Reporting

Prepare investor-ready financial data, dashboards, and MIS reports

Support data requirements for board decks, fundraising, and due diligence

Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial metrics shared with leadership and investors

Compliance & Controls

Ensure compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and SOX / ICFR (if applicable)

Support tax-related data (US / India coordination, GST, withholding, etc., as applicable)

Maintain documentation for accounting conclusions and key judgments

Systems & Process Improvement

Work on accounting systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Oracle, Zoho, or similar ERPs

Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and efficiency.

Assist in defining and documenting SOPs for finance processes
