Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an Accountant based in Bengaluru.
Facil is a C class product distribution company, so we prefer a candidate with an experience in a product-based Industry.
The accountant will manage daily financial tasks, including preparing and examining financial records, ensuring compliance with legal regulations, and supporting the organization in maintaining accurate financial information and admin related tasks
Responsibilities include overseeing accounts, managing financial transactions, preparing periodic financial reports, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- End to end of accounting - Accounts Receivable & Payable: Oversee end-to-end AR and AP processes, including invoice posting in SAP, payment clearing, bank-based supplier and employee payments, and proactive follow-up on outstanding receivables.
- GST Compliance & Reconciliation: Review, reconcile, and validate GST data against SAP records, identifying and resolving discrepancies to ensure statutory compliance.
- Month-End & Year-End Closings: Manage accruals, balance sheet reconciliations, and provide audit support during monthly and annual closing cycles.
- Banking & Transaction Management: Monitor payment workflows and ensure accurate and timely recording of all banking transactions in SAP.
- Administrative & Regulatory Support: Provide general administrative support to the branch, including MCA filings, customs documentation, and coordination of routine office-related tasks.
You will report directly to the Finance Manager Asia (based in our HQ in Belgium).
Qualifications
- Full-time bachelor's degree in commerce
- Min 5 years of experience in a general finance function with end-to-end process exposure in finance
- High accuracy level and discrete
- Friendly, communicative and customer-focused

- Good organizational skills & problem-solving skills
- Able to work in an international and multi-cultural environment
- Stress-resistant and flexible mindset
- Good knowledge of MS Office. Knowledge of SAP or any other ERP system is a plus
- Strong accounting and financial management skills, including experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and analyzing financial data.
- Proficiency in accounting software and tools, combined with solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- High attention to detail and accuracy for reviewing financial documents, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with regulations.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with diverse teams and presenting financial insights.
- Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements related to tax, audits, and local financial standards.
- Relevant educational background, such as a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field,
