We are looking for a Chartered Accountant with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience to join our Delhibased Global Finance team supporting European operations managed out of Germany. The role offers

meaningful ownership of accounting deliverables for assigned EU entities, direct interaction with German

finance leads, and structured exposure to IFRS reporting in a multinational environment. The position is

ideal for a CA seeking to build a long-term career in international finance within a centralized global support

function.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end general ledger accounting for assigned European entities, ensuring accuracy and

timeliness of monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities.

  • Prepare and review journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reclassifications in accordance with

IFRS and group accounting policies.

  • Manage balance sheet reconciliations and drive timely resolution of reconciling items in

coordination with German counterparts.

  • Handle intercompany accounting, including transaction matching, settlements, and reconciliations

across multiple EU entities.

  • Support fixed asset accounting, lease accounting (IFRS 16), and other technical accounting areas

under the guidance of senior team members.

  • Coordinate with statutory auditors and internal audit teams, providing schedules, explanations, and

supporting documentation.

  • Contribute to process standardization and documentation of accounting SOPs to strengthen the

centralized service model.

  • Engage regularly with German stakeholders on close deliverables, queries, and reporting

requirements.

Requirements

  • Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and month-end close

processes.

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced functions and large data set handling.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills suited to working with global stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage timelines, prioritize deliverables, and work independently within a structured

environment.

  • Prior experience in a Global Capability Centre (GCC), shared services, or MNC finance function.
  • Working knowledge of IFRS; exposure to German GAAP (HGB) is a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP (FI/CO) or comparable ERP systems.
  • Exposure to European entities or cross-border accounting environments.
