Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our finance team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial statements and reports
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end closing
• Conduct audits and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and variances
• Collaborate with other departments to support financial initiatives
• Provide support during external audits and tax filings

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple tasks
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of Indian tax laws and compliance requirements
