Accountant

Experience: 3–5 years

Dotts is looking for a sharp, proactive, and commercially aware Accountant who understands numbers, accounting concepts, and the impact finance has on the business.

We need someone who can think on their feet, identify gaps, solve problems, and add measurable value to the company—not someone who simply completes assigned tasks.

• The role will involve hands-on responsibility across accounting and finance operations, including:
• Day-to-day accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance
• Payroll-related accounting and reconciliations
• Accounts payable and receivable
• Month-end and year-end closing activities
• Audit coordination and supporting documentation
• Intercompany transactions and transfer pricing-related accounting
• Maintaining accurate books, schedules, and financial records
• Working closely with the internal team and external consultants to ensure compliance and accuracy

Experience with Zoho Books would be an advantage.

Working knowledge of SEZ/MEPZ-related finance and compliance requirements would be beneficial, but this is a trainable aspect of the role.

More than anything, we are looking for someone who is strong with numbers, understands the why behind accounting entries, asks the right questions, and takes ownership of their work.
