We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant with 2-6 years of experience to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing valuable insights into financial performance.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain financial records and reports
- Perform reconciliations of bank statements and accounts
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
- Monitor and analyze financial performance and provide insights to management
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes
- Collaborate with auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation
- Ensure adherence to accounting policies and procedures
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks)
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of Indian tax laws and regulations is a plus
