Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Record Keeping:

- Maintain accurate financial records for daily transactions using Odoo and Tally.

- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions promptly.

- Manage and reconcile general ledger entries.

- Data Finalisation

- Daily Entry

2. Inventory and Cost Management:

- Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate valuation of stock in Vyapaar App.

- Assist with costing of raw materials and finished goods.

3. Bank and Cash Reconciliation:

- Perform daily/weekly bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy.

- Manage cash flow and oversee petty cash expenses.

- Tax Invoicing

4. GST & Taxation:

- Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) in compliance with regulations.

- Handle other tax-related filings and documentation.

5. Financial Reporting:

- Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

- Assist in budgeting and forecasting.

6. Audit Support:

- Assist in preparing documents for internal and external audits.

- Ensure financial compliance with company policies and regulations.

7. Other Duties:

- Assist in payroll processing and statutory compliance.

- Support management with ad-hoc financial analysis.

Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

- Proven experience as an accountant, preferably in a manufacturing or retail environment.

- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Tally ERP systems.

- Sound understanding of GST and other indirect tax regulations.

- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
