About the Role
We are looking for a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Accountancy Expert (Freelancer) to support financial operations, accounting processes, and business reporting activities. You will work on bookkeeping, financial analysis, reconciliations, compliance support, and accounting-related projects to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial management.
This role is ideal for professionals who have strong accounting expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to manage financial tasks independently in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage bookkeeping, journal entries, and financial record maintenance.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and account reconciliations.
- Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies or improvement areas.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and expense tracking activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial regulations, and company policies.
- Assist with tax documentation, invoicing, and payment tracking.
- Maintain accuracy in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Work with accounting software and spreadsheets to manage financial data.
- Collaborate with teams to improve financial workflows and reporting processes.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Experience with bookkeeping, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
- Proficiency in Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks, Tally, Xero, or similar tools.
- Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage deadlines effectively.
Preferred Qualifications
- CA, CMA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Experience with financial audits, taxation, or compliance support.
- Familiarity with payroll processing and financial forecasting.
- Previous freelance or remote accounting project experience.
