Account Team Lead

Team Lead – Accounts | Ahmedabad

Petpooja is looking for a Team Lead – Accounts to lead end-to-end accounting operations, financial reporting, compliance, and month-end/quarter-end closures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage AP, AR, General Ledger and account reconciliations.
• Handle monthly, quarterly and annual financial closures.
• Prepare and review financial statements, MIS and reports.
• Manage GST, TDS, statutory and tax compliances.
• Coordinate internal and external audits.
• Drive accounting automation and AI adoption initiatives.
• Improve accounting processes, SOPs and internal controls.
• Lead, mentor and manage the Accounts team.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and management.

Required Qualifications:

• 4–6 years of post-qualification experience in Accounts, Financial Reporting & Compliance.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, AP/AR, GL and financial closures.
• Experience with audits, GST and TDS.
• Good knowledge of ERP and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical, communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
• Exposure to AI/automation in finance will be an added advantage.
