Role Overview:
The Account Strategic Architect (ASA) is a senior technical sales and transformation leader responsible for aligning a customer's business strategy with IT priorities, with a strong focus on the lending and financial services domain.
The ASA partners closely with C-level executives and senior client stakeholders to define, shape, and execute long-term digital and business transformation strategies. This role translates business outcomes into actionable technical roadmaps, reference architectures, and executable designs, ensuring alignment with product strategy and enterprise standards.
Acting as a trusted advisor and latent sales driver, the ASA leads and coordinates cross-functional teams—solution architects, enterprise architects, and technical specialists—to deliver scalable, compliant, and future-ready solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic & Advisory Leadership
- Provide expert input into client transformation strategies, particularly within lending and financial services.
- Engage with C-suite and senior stakeholders to align business goals, IT investments, and long-term architecture vision.
- Represent and communicate the product and platform roadmap to client stakeholders.
Architecture & Solution Design
- Translate business outcomes into executable architectures, solution designs, and reference models.
- Maintain and evolve architecture blueprints, integration baselines, and design standards.
- Act as design authority, ensuring architectural alignment, quality, and consistency.
Delivery & Governance
- Lead cross-functional teams including solution architects, enterprise architects, and delivery teams.
- Ensure seamless integration across platforms, applications, and data layers.
- Conduct solution compliance, risk assessments, and technical governance reviews.
Requirements & Prioritisation
- Own and manage the requirements backlog, ensuring clarity, traceability, and prioritisation.
- Drive joint prioritisation with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Balance short-term delivery needs with long-term strategic objectives.
Innovation & Growth Enablement
- Introduce best market practices, industry benchmarks, and peer solutions.
- Support innovation initiatives such as POCs, labs, and pilots.
- Act as a latent sales driver, identifying growth opportunities and expanding solution footprint within client accounts.

Required Skills & Experience
Technical & Domain Expertise
- Strong experience in enterprise and solution architecture, ideally within lending / banking / financial services.
- Deep understanding of digital transformation, integration patterns, cloud-native architectures, and modern platforms.
- Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear technical designs.
Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- Proven experience engaging with C-level executives and senior decision-makers.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams.
- Excellent communication skills—technical and non-technical.
Strategic & Commercial Acumen
- Experience supporting account growth, roadmap positioning, and value articulation.
- Ability to identify opportunities for expansion and innovation within client organizations.
