This Position reports to:
Team Lead - General Accounting
Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)In this role, you will have the opportunity to support account receivables and/or credit activities in line with defined strategies, policies, and procedures. Each day, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing record to report data. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with the relevant accounting standards.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid
This role is contributing to the General Accounting in Bangalore. Main stakeholders are finance controllers, FAO, management.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Performing general accounting activities, applying techniques and standards to the classification and recoding of financial transactions.
- Executing quality checks on financial reporting data, including fluctuations monitoring.
- Complying with and helping achieve Internal control over Financial Reporting (ICoFR) compliance in General Accounting team for applicable templates and participating in internal control testing and preparing relevant documentation.
- Assisting with data gathering, data entry, and basic financial analysis to ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial statements.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)- You are immersed in / engaged in / absorbed in / highly skilled in/ you enjoy working with Accounting Standards and Financial Reporting
- Ability to demonstrate your experience in / Have established skills / advanced skills / You have 3 -5 years of experience in General Ledger
- Possess an enhanced knowledge of / You are qualified in / Highly adept in SAP, General Accounting, Reconciliation
- You are passionate about / you are captivated by / you are innovative around technology driven changes
- Degree in / Have a demonstrated track record in / Extensive knowledge of / Proven experience of B.Com, M.Com/ MBA in Finance
- You are at ease communicating in English
