Location: Gurgaon

Employment Type: Full-time, permanent

Job Purpose

We are hiring an Account Relationship Manager (ARM), an operating lease company headquartered in Gurgaon. They are currently navigating a high-growth phase, targeting a 3x volume increase in FY27 over FY26, and is actively expanding its team to support this operational scale.

In this role, the incumbent will take full ownership of the pre-mandate and post-mandate support ecosystem. By managing prospect screening, streamlining end-to-end documentation, and proactively monitoring client portfolio health, you will ensure that the core sales team can focus entirely on relationship building and driving revenue without administrative friction.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Pre-Mandate Analysis: Run comprehensive background checks on potential clients, verifying credit histories and checking for past delinquencies using CIBIL, CRIF, or equivalent platforms. Review publicly available financial data such as MCA filings and annual reports, while scanning market news for red flags like litigation, regulatory action, or promoter disputes.
  • Prospect Briefing: Prepare a structured document for the sales lead on each prospect, outlining core company basics, financial health indicators, and any critical flags to review prior to introductory meetings.
  • Pipeline Tracking: Maintain, organize, and continuously update the prospect pipeline tracker via Odoo CRM with accurate deal statuses, interaction notes, and next strategic steps.
  • Post-Mandate Execution: Work directly with the finance and accounts teams of mandated clients to gather all essential documentation required by Financial Institution (FI) lenders. This encompasses audited and provisional financials, KYC documentation, board resolutions, asset quotations, and customized lender templates.
  • Documentation Management: Meticulously track documentation status to maintain clear visibility over what has been received, what is pending, what has been submitted to specific lenders, and what requires query resolution. Maintain a live, real-time tracker that leadership can reference independently at any moment.
  • Lender & Client Liaison: Act as the central single point of contact between the client and the lender on all document-related matters. Coordinate closely with lender operations teams regarding submission formats, operational timelines, and prompt query resolution.
  • Portfolio Health Monitoring: Continuously monitor client health post-disbursement by tracking rental payment regularity, identifying potential financial distress early, and keeping the sales lead fully informed.
  • Escalation Management: Immediately escalate portfolio anomalies—such as delayed payments, sudden client unresponsiveness, or competitor encroachment—to the sales lead with necessary context and proposed next steps.
  • Repeat Business Generation: Proactively scan the active client portfolio to identify and surface repeat leasing opportunities that support ongoing business growth.

Requirements:

  • 1 to 3 years of professional experience within banking, NBFCs, or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of credit assessment processes, loan or lease documentation workflows, and institutional client servicing.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret financial statements confidently.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong stakeholder coordination ability.
  • Highly disciplined execution and follow-up orientation with strong attention to detail.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and Google Sheets.
  • Prior experience in credit operations, loan processing, or lease documentation within a bank or NBFC would be preferred.
  • Familiarity with CIBIL/CRIF evaluation and MCA filing analysis would be an added advantage.
  • Experience working with mid-market corporate clients with revenues ranging between INR 100 Cr to INR 10,000 Cr would be preferred.

Benefits:

  • Take end-to-end ownership of a critical execution workflow supporting a fast-scaling operating lease business.
  • Work closely with sales, finance, lender operations, and client leadership teams across complex commercial transactions.
  • Drive measurable improvements in documentation turnaround times and transaction closure efficiency.
  • Actively contribute to repeat business generation and portfolio expansion through proactive client monitoring.
  • Build deep expertise in leasing operations, credit workflows, and institutional relationship management within a high-growth financial platform.
