Job Description

Key Skills: Fraud Detection, GCP, Compliance, Documentation., Risk Assessment

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Own end-to-end Google Account Recovery cases and ensure zero-error execution of security, trust, and privacy policies.
  • Perform identity, ownership, and authorization verification using approved tools and frameworks.
  • Validate user identity and domain ownership, and apply authorization checks to determine recovery eligibility.
  • Detect and prevent fraud, social engineering, and unauthorized access attempts; escalate high-risk or non-standard cases.
  • Maintain clear, accurate, and audit-ready documentation for all recovery actions and communications.
  • Make high-judgment decisions under ambiguous and high-risk conditions while adhering to SLOs, authentication standards, and operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with security, compliance, and operations teams to resolve complex account recovery cases.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for recovery workflows, fraud prevention, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to security, compliance, privacy, and governance standards across all recovery processes.
  • Analyze recovery trends and contribute insights to improve trust and safety operations.
  • Participate in incident handling, escalation management, and process optimization activities.
  • Maintain confidentiality and integrity of sensitive user and organizational information.

Skills Required:

  • Strong expertise in GCP, Google account recovery workflows, and admin role management.
  • Experience in identity validation, authorization frameworks, and domain ownership verification.
  • Knowledge of fraud detection, trust and safety operations, and unauthorized access prevention.
  • Familiarity with risk assessment, decision-making frameworks, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience maintaining audit-ready documentation and operational records.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to make high-judgment decisions in ambiguous and high-risk situations.
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Understanding of authentication standards, privacy policies, and cloud security operations.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Science or a related field.
