We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Account Receivable professional specialized in Physician and Hospital Billing to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the billing process, ensuring accuracy, and resolving billing discrepancies. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of our healthcare services.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the billing process for physician and hospital services.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with billing regulations and policies.
- Review and analyze patient accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies and follow up on outstanding payments.
- Communicate with patients and healthcare providers regarding billing inquiries.
- Maintain organized and updated records of all billing transactions.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and accurate billing.
- Assist in financial reporting and audits related to accounts receivable.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of experience in accounts receivable, billing, or a healthcare finance role.
- Familiarity with medical billing codes (CPT, ICD-10) and insurance claim processes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in billing software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
