Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai for an Account Officer at NPTEL. The Account Officer will work on day-to-day financial operations, including preparing financial statements, updating records, and conducting financial analysis. Responsibilities will also include processing transactions, supporting audits and compliance, and providing outstanding customer service. Communication with internal and external stakeholders will also be a key aspect of the role to ensure smooth financial processes.

Qualifications

• Strong skills in Financial Statements preparation and knowledge of Finance processes
• Analytical skills for data interpretation and problem-solving
• Proficiency in Customer Service and Communication to liaise with stakeholders effectively
• Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (preferred)
• Proficiency in financial software tools and MS Office
• Experience in financial analysis and reporting is an advantage
