Position: Account Manager

Location: India ( Hyderabad, Bangalore)

Experience: 7–12 years

Industry: Software / SaaS / IT Solutions

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to drive growth in India's enterprise software market. This role combines new customer acquisition and account expansion with post-sales customer success: ensuring adoption, value realization, and long-term retention. You'll work with CXOs and senior leaders to build strategic partnerships while collaborating internally with sales, delivery, product, and support teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure and expansion.
  • Own post-sales engagement: onboarding, adoption, and success planning with key stakeholders.
  • Conduct Executive Business Reviews (EBRs / QBRs) to align customer outcomes with our solutions.
  • Monitor customer health, usage, and satisfaction; anticipate risks and proactively address churn signals.
  • Collaborate with presales, delivery, product, support, and channel partners to deliver customer outcomes.
  • Track market trends, customer feedback, and competitor activity; share insights to shape go-to-market and product roadmap.
  • Manage a portfolio of enterprise and mid-market accounts with a mix of high-touch and scalable success models.
  • Consistently achieve and exceed revenue, retention, and net revenue retention (NRR) targets.

Requirements

  • 7-12 years of proven software/SaaS sales and customer success experience in India.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement and RFx processes.
  • Experience selling to BFSI, IT/ITES, Manufacturing, or Public Sector accounts.
  • Ability to engage at CXO and senior IT/Procurement leadership levels.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM or Customer Success platforms (Salesforce, Gainsight, or similar).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Track record of exceeding sales quotas and driving adoption/expansion in enterprise accounts.
  • Domain knowledge of ITSM, Agile, DevOps, or related areas is a plus.
