Purpose/Key Objectives of the Job:

As Account Manager for the Personal Care business in India, you will drive profitable sales growth, expand Nouryon's presence with key customers and channel partners, and build a strong pipeline of new opportunities. You will focus on achieving sales and margin targets, developing strategic accounts, supporting new product introductions, and contributing to accurate forecasting and demand planning for the region.

About The Job (Job Responsibilities):

  • Work in coordination with customer`s technical and marketing teams to understand consumer needs and deliver support as per customer requirements.
  • Assess and understand the market needs, trends including changes in customer portfolio, competition, applications, solutions and products in the market.
  • Develop, identify and asses new business opportunities. Build a robust opportunity pipeline to reflect region's potential for growth.
  • Present unique product value propositions to the customer and covert the opportunity to wins.
  • Improving opportunity success rate/ turnaround time.
  • Make recommendations on what products to be used, arrange samples, technical bulletins, statements, etc.
  • Liaise with global technical teams and regional marketing teams to create synergies applicable to local market.
  • Liaise with global key account managers for ongoing projects and new developments
  • Provide forecasting and demand planning to demand planners.
  • Prepare reports, data to be shared with internal and external audience.
  • Ensure customer & distributor training on product/ application knowledge.
  • Visit and help organizing local trade shows / conferences and distribution seminars.

We believe you bring (Education & Experience):

  • Degree in Bachelors in Cosmetic Technology / Pharma/ Chemicals Engineering / Chemistry, and MBA is preferred.
  • Background with Sales/Account Management / Business Development in the Personal Care Industry of at least 8-10 years.
  • Requires strong interpersonal, analytical and communication skills.
  • Takes ownership & accountability and carries an entrepreneurial mindset to find solutions and make sound recommendations.
  • Self-driven & self-starter.
  • Energetic/enthusiastic with strong drive and capacity for taking initiatives.
  • Positive mind set and attitude, willing to learn new things.
  • Travel 50% of his/her time.
  • Experience in Arkieva/ IBP, Price Navigator, CRM, Power BI etc.
  • Professional in English, verbal and written and preferably speaks the regional languages.
