Job Description

Job Title: Manager Accounts

Location: Sewri

Reporting To: Vice President & Directors

Team: Leading a team of 4-5 executives

About the Role:

Onestop Retail Pvt Ltd is a dynamic retail company known for delivering quality products and services. We value precision and professionalism in our financial operations and are looking for an experienced Manager Accounts to oversee and manage the company's financial operations. The ideal candidate should have 7-8 years of experience in a senior accounting role within the retail sector preferably and be proficient in handling accounting, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership & Team Management Lead and mentor a team of executives, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency in the accounts department.

Financial Control & Compliance Oversee daily accounting operations, ensure compliance with tax regulations (GST, TDS, etc.), and handle statutory audits.

Reporting & Analysis Prepare financial statements, MIS reports, and other management reports for decision-making.

Collaboration & Communication Work closely with key stakeholders, including Operations, Procurement, Warehouse, and Store Heads, etc. to ensure seamless coordination.

Process Improvement & Proactiveness Identify gaps, streamline accounting processes, and ensure adherence to best practices.

Vendor & Bank Relations Manage relationships with financial institutions, external auditors, and vendors for smooth transactions.

Budgeting & Forecasting Assist in financial planning, budgeting, and cost control measures.

Key Skills & Requirements:

Experience: Minimum 7-8 years in a senior accounting role within a retail company.

Leadership: Ability to lead a team and foster a positive work environment.

Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, financial reporting, and statutory compliance.

Software Skills: Working experience in an ERP environment, willingness to adapt to Company ERP, and working knowledge of SAP S/4HANA.

Communication & Coordination: Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Proactive & Problem-Solving Approach: Ability to take initiative, resolve issues efficiently, and drive process improvements.
