Job Description

Job Title: Account Manager – VMS/MSP

Location: Chennai, India

Experience: 6–12 years

Employment Type: Full-time

Work Timing : EST/CST time zone.

We are seeking a highly driven Account Manager to manage and grow strategic VMS/MSP accounts, System Integrators (SIs), and Implementation Partners while leading a team of recruiters and ensuring strict compliance standards. This role requires a balance of client relationship management, delivery ownership, team leadership, and compliance governance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and manage relationships with VMS/MSP programs, Tier-1 vendors, System Integrators, and Implementation Partners
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of recruiters, driving performance, accountability, and delivery excellence
  • Review, screen, and qualify resumes before submission to ensure high-quality, relevant, and compliant candidate profiles
  • Enforce and adhere to strict client compliance processes, including documentation, onboarding requirements, and submission guidelines
  • Ensure all submissions meet client-specific compliance standards (work authorization validation, location constraints, rate card adherence, etc.)
  • Drive revenue growth through improved fill rates, submission quality, and faster turnaround times
  • Act as the primary escalation point for delivery and compliance-related issues
  • Collaborate closely with recruiting teams to maintain a strong and compliant candidate pipeline
  • Conduct regular business reviews (MBRs/QBRs) with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion, cross-selling, and increased wallet share

Required Skills & Experience

  • 6-12 years of experience in staffing/account management, with strong exposure to VMS/MSP environments
  • Proven experience in leading recruitment teams and driving delivery outcomes
  • Deep understanding of U.S. immigration and work authorization.
  • Strong knowledge of client compliance frameworks and onboarding processes in MSP/VMS environments
  • Experience working with System Integrators (HCL, Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, etc.)
  • Strong hands-on ability to screen, evaluate, and qualify resumes across IT and/or professional roles
  • Strong hands-on working experience with VMS platforms (Beeline, Fieldglass, IQNavigator, etc.)
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple high-volume accounts in a fast-paced environment
