Business Development Manager
Key Accountabilities:
- Hunting for new business opportunities and customers in the given geography across various business verticals
- Planning of sales strategies, the positioning in contrast to the competitors and the demonstration of the business
- Preparation of presentations about the Solution encompassing products (own, partners) & services with all their values for the usage of the sales engagement
- Coordination and organization of demand generating activities like tradeshows, company events or customer workshops
- Drive Client engagements by linking the Business to Technological needs in meeting Client investment objectives
- Work with the SCM/OEM teams in optimizing the Solution Cost
- Drive RFP specifications with clients, partners & Regulators
- Bring holistic view to client which is solution centric
- Work with Sales/TU teams in creating the Business Case
- Interface with Delivery team during sales and post-sales activities
Skills required:
- Deep Knowledge of Telecom Networks and Supplier Ecosystem, particularly as it pertains to Optical Fiber, Optical Fiber Cable and FTTH.
- Good understanding of APAC markets, culture and key accounts in the region
- Hard core sales/BD professional with strong inter-personnel skills.
- Self-starter, Proactive thinker, Agile, Adaptive, Comfortable to build new relationship.
- Negotiation skills & Strategic Communication
- Excellent verbal and writing communication skills
- Telecom equipment/manufacturing industry preferred
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in the telecom business
- Experience in working with large Telcos in ANZ, specifically in the OF/OFC/FTTH space.
