Your Role
- This is a full-time, on-site Lab Water Sales role based in Kolkata. The role involves driving sales growth by building strong relationships with clients and understanding their laboratory water needs. The responsibilities include identifying opportunities for new business, presenting tailored product solutions, providing technical guidance on lab water systems, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role also requires close collaboration with internal teams for effective sales strategies and support. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
- Follow daily sales process, timely update on market, customers, and activities. Assess customer potential and provide forecast for sales planning. Meet sales targets as per plan. Identify and develop new customers. Participate in product promotions. Be aware of competitors activity. Updated on local events related to industry. Maintain customer data.
- Result orientation to meet the sales targets without compromising on Compliance and code of conduct. Specifically, we would be responsible for Sales of Lab water Systems to variety of customers such as pharmaceuticals, Government Research and academia, food & beverage industries, Govt. departments, hospitals, diagnostics etc. Knowledge of the territory and the potential customers.
- Experience of direct and B2B selling.
Minimum Requirements
Who You Are:
- Graduation (B. Sc.) / B. Tech from a reputed University / Institution.
- A MBA or equivalent will be preferred.
- Experience of 3 to 7 years in Scientific equipment selling will preferred.
Preferred Requirements
- Strong knowledge in sales strategies, client engagement, and customer relationship management.
- Sales target achievement, Customer visit, Forecasting, Market assessment, Direct & B2B sales, Dealer sales and development, Competition understanding, etc.
- Technical understanding of laboratory water systems and related scientific tools.
- Ability to conduct market analysis and identify opportunities for business growth.
- Proficiency in effective communication, presentation, and negotiation.
- Experience in the life sciences industry is a strong advantage.
- A proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Willingness to work on-site in Kolkata /outstation and travel as needed.
