We are hiring an Account Manager - Sales for our Wireless Devices category. This is a unique hybrid role combining vendor account management, sales growth, and in-stock operational excellence for Amazon's Wireless Devices.

You will have the exciting opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy for managing wireless device vendors. This role requires comfort with influencing across functional, operational, and vendor teams.

The candidate will thrive in an ambiguous environment where they must develop, implement, and iterate on business strategies to deliver growth and positive experience for sellers. This person has relentlessly high standards and operates as a business owner who understands key levers to achieve results. Everyone on the team needs to be entrepreneurial, wear many hats, and work in a highly collaborative environment that's more startup than big company.
You will be at times expected to work on transactional but business-critical activities with a hands-on approach. This role requires employees to work from our Amazon BLR office.

Key job responsibilities
Business Growth & Sales:
Drive sales growth for wireless device vendors through strategic account management
Success will be measured by the performance of your tasks and deliverables on input metrics including revenue growth, selection expansion, and vendor satisfaction
Contribute to business strategy development and identify the correct input metrics that drive growth and improve the end customer experience, in collaboration with cross-functional teams
Possess the ability to manage and deliver against complex goals where strategy is not defined. Able to make trade-offs between short-term selling partner needs and longer-term strategic areas
Identify new opportunities across a large number of wireless brands and sellers, develop and execute project plans

In-Stock Management:
Improve in-stock rates and systematic forecasting
Oversee planning and inventory management as well as drive analysis and optimization of inventory management systems and processes to ensure we achieve world-class inventory availability and inventory health
Drive initiatives that improve sales, customer experience, and operational performance through better inventory management

Relationship Management:
Engage directly with Amazon's wireless device vendors and multiple internal teams to enable vendor growth on Amazon
Build and cultivate relationships with sellers in your team's portfolio along with internal stakeholders be a trusted advisor and a business advocate
Work closely with Vendor Managers, Product Management, and other Amazon Business units to improve customers in-store experience
Monitor seller satisfaction survey results to investigate both positive and negative feedback trends. Establish improvement plans and manage expectations as appropriate

Process Excellence & Operational Leadership:
Look into operational aspects of vendors business with Amazon, root cause analysis of issues and opportunities affecting the vendor's business
Drive process improvement and operational excellence within our vendor community by reducing costs, defects, and lead times, while increasing innovation, automation, and economies of scale
Use customer feedback, market growth trends, and analyze key metrics to contribute to strategic development of features and programs that accelerate growth and improve selling partners experience working with Amazon
Spot areas of unnecessary process or inefficiencies and work to simplify
Identify, optimize, and scale improvements that can benefit a large set of customers, e.g., driving efficiencies through tools and processes, simplifying SOPs, etc., working across multiple organizations
Develop mechanisms to create accountability

Basic Qualifications

- 3+ years of sales experience
- Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
- Experience managing teams
- Experience using Salesforce or other CRM tool

Preferred Qualifications

- 2+ years of using SQL to extract and manipulate data experience
- 5+ years of B2B industry service delivery experience
