Seeking an Account Manager to drive revenue growth from its existing customer base. This is a revenue-focused role, not a relationship management position, with a clear emphasis on expanding new revenue from existing accounts through cross-selling new lines of business, upselling on volume and adoption, managing contract renegotiations at renewal, and closing referral-sourced deals. The role involves close collaboration with customer success managers, product, and account executives to maximize expansion opportunities and shape the product roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Cross-sell new lines of business into existing accounts including Instagram, voice, email, and app
- Upsell on volume and adoption to drive deeper product usage and higher contract values at renewal
- Run demos for every new line of business launched, tailored to each brand's context
- Close commercials end-to-end on standard deals, escalating large or complex ones to an AE
- Own referral pipeline from existing customers and work warm leads sourced by CSMs
- Mine account data such as usage, attribution, and contract timing to identify expansion opportunities proactively
- Loop Product in when a deal requires features not yet available, helping shape the roadmap from the field
Qualifications
- 2 to 4 years in a closing role such as Account Management, Inside Sales, or AE, with proven warm-deal closing
- Ability to run a product demo live, off-script, and tie features to a brand's specific problem
- Revenue-first mindset with strong relationship instincts, focused on growing the number
- Comfort with data, including pulling usage and attribution numbers to build a case before calls
- Commercial fluency, including scoping deals, handling pricing pushback, and navigating renewals
- Bonus: experience selling to D2C brands, the Shopify ecosystem, or martech and conversational AI
