Job Summary
We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) to oversee the organization's financial records and accounting operations, ensuring full compliance with statutory regulations and banking standards. The role involves managing financial reporting, taxation, regulatory submissions, audit coordination, and fixed asset management while maintaining strong financial controls and governance.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end accounting operations including bookkeeping in line with applicable accounting standards.
- Prepare and finalize financial statements including Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet.
- Ensure compliance with Income Tax, Corporate Tax, GST, and other statutory regulations.
- Monitor receivables, payables, and perform account reconciliations.
- Maintain and manage the Chart of Accounts (COA) and internal financial controls.
- Prepare and submit regulatory reports to RBI and other authorities as required.
- Coordinate and support statutory audits, internal audits, Head Office audits, and RBI audits.
- Draft, review, and update Policies & Procedures (P&P) related to finance and accounting.
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, including capitalization and depreciation as per applicable norms.
- Support implementation and stabilization of branch accounting systems and processes.
- Provide financial reports, analysis, and MIS to management and Head Office.
- Ensure adherence to compliance standards and continuously improve financial processes.
Mandatory Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory.
- Minimum 5+ years of post-qualification experience in accounting and finance.
- Experience in banking or financial services industry (foreign bank preferred).
- Strong knowledge of taxation, regulatory compliance, and financial reporting standards.
- Hands-on experience in audit handling, RBI reporting, and regulatory submissions.
- Proficiency in accounting systems, MS Excel, and financial reporting tools.
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
