Job Description Accounts Manager
Position: Accounts Manager
Salary Budget: 4 LPA 6 LPA
Experience: 4 10 Years
Qualification: B.Com / M.Com / CA Inter (Preferred)
Key Responsibilities
1. Accounting & Bookkeeping
- Maintain complete books of accounts and ensure accurate accounting entries.
- Handle journal entries, adjustment entries, and ledger management.
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions.
2. Accounts Payable
- Verify vendor invoices and purchase entries.
- Process vendor payments and maintain vendor records.
- Conduct vendor reconciliation and resolve discrepancies.
3. Accounts Receivable & Collection
- Maintain customer ledgers and billing records.
- Monitor outstanding payments and coordinate with the sales team for collections.
- Track collection status and report to management.
4. Fund Monitoring & Cash Flow
- Monitor company funds and manage cash flow.
- Plan daily payments and track collections.
- Ensure proper fund allocation.
5. Bank & Cash Management
- Perform bank reconciliation (BRS).
- Monitor cash transactions and petty cash records.
- Ensure proper payment approvals and documentation.
6. Inventory & Asset Management
- Monitor inventory accounting and stock records.
- Maintain fixed asset register and track depreciation.
- Coordinate with the warehouse/operations team for stock accuracy.
7. Taxation & Compliance
- Handle GST filing and GST reconciliation.
- Manage TDS calculation, deduction, and return filing.
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations.
8. Financial Reporting
- Prepare monthly MIS reports.
- Assist in preparation of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and other financial reports.
- Provide financial insights to management.
9. Audit & Documentation
- Prepare documents for internal and external audits.
- Maintain proper accounting records and documentation.
- Coordinate with auditors and consultants.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and accounting compliance
- Experience in Tally / ERP / Excel
- Good analytical and reconciliation skills
- Understanding of cash flow management and financial reporting
- Attention to detail and accuracy
