Role: Account Manager

Experience: 8-12 years

Location: Bangalore

As an Account Manager at Apexon you will be responsible for cultivating and managing strategic client relationships in the IT services, professional services, and managed services space. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique business challenges, align our services to their needs, and ensure the successful delivery of solutions. Your goal is to drive client satisfaction, loyalty, and revenue growth while acting as a trusted advisor.

Key Responsibilities:

Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships at the executive and senior management levels.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their strategic goals, and proactively identifying opportunities to add value.

Solution Alignment:

  • Collaborate with technical and business teams to align our IT services, professional services, and managed services offerings with the client's needs and objectives.
  • Develop customized solutions and service strategies to address client challenges effectively.

Account Growth:

  • This role will be responsible for 80% account mining and 20% of new Business development.
  • Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing client accounts.
  • Develop account growth strategies and initiatives to expand the breadth and depth of services provided.

Client Satisfaction:

  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet or exceed client expectations.
  • Proactively address and resolve client concerns or issues to maintain a high level of client satisfaction.

Strategic Planning:

  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and execute strategic account plans, including revenue targets, client retention strategies, and market expansion plans.

Market Insights:

  • Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscapes to provide valuable insights and recommendations to clients.

Contract Management:

  • Oversee contract negotiations and renewals, ensuring favorable terms and conditions for both the client and [Company Name].

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven track record of at least 8+ years of experience in client relationship management in the IT services, professional services, or managed services industry.
  • Strong understanding of IT solutions and services, including cloud computing, cybersecurity, data analytics, and digital transformation.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver innovative solutions.
  • Results-oriented with a focus on exceeding revenue targets and client satisfaction.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage complex client relationships.
