Seventh Triangle is a Shopify Premier Partner martech and commerce agency led by former D2C founders. We run performance, retention, SEO/AEO/GEO, CRO and Shopify development for 40+ D2C brands across India, the UK, US, Australia and Middle East. We work in short sprints, decide on data, and are accountable to clients for revenue, not rankings.

The role

You will own the AEO and GEO programme for D2C brands: getting them answered, cited and recommended in AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, on top of a sound SEO foundation. This is not a run the keyword report seat. You are the client's single point of contact, you write the strategy, you direct the content, and when something goes off track it is yours to fix and yours to explain. We expect you to know which prompts a brand needs to win and which sources the AI engines are citing instead before you brief a single page.

What You Will Do

• Be the primary contact for your accounts: daily sync up, weekly check-ins, monthly reviews that lead with organic revenue and AI citation share
• Write the AEO and GEO strategy for each brand: the prompt set to win, the sources being cited today, and the content and third-party work it takes to become one of them
• Put the SEO foundation in first: technical health, crawlability for AI bots, entity and structured data, page intent, and what breaks on Shopify themes
• Own the content plan and its quality: answer-first page structures, FAQ and knowledge base content, comparison and category pages. Write the briefs, edit the drafts, and fix them yourself when they will not get cited
• Build the brand's third-party footprint (reviews, Reddit, Quora, listicles, comparison sites) because that is what the engines corroborate against
• Set up and run prompt tracking across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and AI Overviews, and AI referral reporting in GA4, so share of voice is a number the client can see move
• Brief content, tech and analytics with the right detail for each, track delivery weekly, and prioritise across accounts when the team is stretched, telling the affected client before they ask
  
  

What This Role Is Not

• A keyword research and reporting role
• A content writing seat with no client ownership
• A pure technical SEO or link-building role
• Paid media or performance marketing
  
  

What We Expect From You

• 3 to 6 years in SEO or organic growth, at least 2 of them agency-side across multiple accounts
• Been the client's point of contact yourself, including running reviews and delivering bad news
• At least 3 AEO or GEO change you personally shipped, with a before and after you can show
• A clear explanation, in your own words, of how AI engines choose what to cite and why that differs from how Google ranks a page
• Strong copy and editing sense: you can write an answer-first page, fix a weak brief, and tell within a minute whether a draft will be cited
• Solid technical SEO grounding and hands-on GA4, Search Console and Semrush or Ahrefs
• A prompt-tracking method you have built or used to measure brand mentions across AI engines
• Fluent written and spoken English for international clients
