Job Description

As an Accounts Intern, you will assist the finance and accounting team with a variety of tasks, providing valuable support while gaining practical experience in financial management, bookkeeping, and reporting. This internship is ideal for someone pursuing a career in accounting and looking to apply their academic knowledge in a real-world setting.

Key Responsibilities -

  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Assist in processing invoices, payments, and receipts.
  • Bookkeeping Support: Help maintain accurate financial records by entering transactions into accounting software.
  • Data Entry & Reconciliation: Support the team in reconciling bank statements and matching transactions.
  • Financial Reports: Assist with the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and profit and loss reports.
  • Filing & Documentation: Organize and maintain financial documents, ensuring easy retrieval and compliance.
  • Assistance with Audits: Provide support during internal or external audits by gathering and preparing relevant documents.
  • Other Administrative Tasks: Perform additional accounting-related duties as assigned by the supervisor or accounting team.

Required Qualification -

  • Education: Currently pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and a meticulous approach to handling data.
  • Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills to interact with team members and stakeholders.
  • Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with MS Office (Excel, Word) and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Tally) is a plus.
  • Organization: Ability to manage tasks efficiently and prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team Player: Collaborative attitude and willingness to learn from experienced professionals.

Compensation and Benefits -

  • Stipend: This is an unpaid internship; however, candidates will receive a stipend ranging from 5,000 to 10,000 per month, depending on skills and experience.
  • Certification: Upon successful completion of the internship, candidates will be awarded a Certification of Internship from Sheopal's Pvt. Ltd.
  • Learning Opportunity: Practical experience in accounting and finance with mentorship from industry professionals.
