The Cocktail Story is a 360° experiential marketing and production agency specializing in alco-bev brands. We create integrated campaigns across events, experiences, activations, retail, digital, content, production, fabrication, and brand strategy for some of the world's leading beverage brands.

Role Overview

The Group Account Head is responsible for leading client relationships, driving business growth, ensuring flawless project execution, and managing a team of Account Managers and Client Servicing professionals.

This role combines strategic thinking, commercial ownership, and leadership to grow existing accounts while bringing in new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

Client Leadership & Relationship Management

Serve as the primary strategic point of contact for key clients.

Build strong relationships with brand managers, marketing heads, procurement teams, and leadership stakeholders.

Lead client meetings, presentations, and quarterly business reviews.

Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling services.

Ensure exceptional client satisfaction and retention.

Business Growth & Revenue Ownership

Own annual revenue targets assigned by the organization.

Develop account growth plans for each client.

Drive new business opportunities through networking, referrals, and industry relationships.

Identify opportunities across events, activations, retail, fabrication, digital, and content.

Support leadership in pitching and closing new business.

Strategic Planning

Translate client briefs into impactful marketing and experiential solutions.

Collaborate with strategy, creative, digital, operations, and production teams.

Lead campaign planning from concept to execution.

Ensure all ideas align with client objectives and business goals.

Team Leadership

Lead and mentor Account Managers and Client Servicing Executives.

Establish clear KPIs and performance expectations.

Conduct regular team reviews and training sessions.

Ensure team members maintain strong client communication and project management standards.

Project & Execution Oversight

Oversee execution of campaigns, activations, events, and brand experiences.

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.

Manage escalation points and resolve client concerns proactively.

Maintain quality control across all deliverables.

Commercial & Financial Management

Own account profitability and contribution margins.

Review estimates, scopes of work, and commercial proposals.

Track revenue realization, billing status, and outstanding payments.

Work closely with finance teams to ensure timely collections.

Monitor project profitability and cost efficiencies.

Ensure seamless communication and project delivery across departments.

Required Experience

8–12+ years in experiential marketing, events, advertising, media, or brand solutions.

Strong experience managing FMCG, Alcobev, Lifestyle, Luxury, or Hospitality brands.

Proven track record of managing large-scale client relationships.

Strong commercial and negotiation skills.
