Industry & Sector: Food & Beverage / Agricommodities (rice processing, packaging and distribution) operating in FMCG/export markets. We are hiring an onsite Accounting Intern in India to support daytoday finance operations, learn handson accounting workflows, and contribute to accurate financial reporting for a fastmoving manufacturing and export business.
Position: Accounting Intern (Onsite, India)
Role & Responsibilities
- Support daytoday bookkeeping: post invoices, process purchase and sales vouchers, and maintain ledgers using accounting software.
- Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable workflows—verify vendor invoices, prepare payment runs, and follow up on receivables.
- Perform bank reconciliations and routine ledger reconciliations to ensure data accuracy.
- Prepare and maintain Excel spreadsheets for expense tracking, cashflow monitoring, and basic monthly reports.
- Help compile GST returns, maintain tax records, and coordinate with external tax consultants on documentation.
- Support monthend closing tasks and provide documentation for audits and internal reviews.

Qualifications & Other Requirements
- Pursuing or completed Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance or related field.
- Prior internship or coursework in accounting/finance is a plus; eagerness to learn and work onsite in India required.
- Availability for a minimum internship period (typically 3–6 months) and immediate or short notice joiners preferred.
