Account Executive (Tally Prime Exp.)

About The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and responsible Account Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, statutory compliances, reconciliations, and financial documentation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Tally Prime, GST, TDS, banking, and general accounting, preferably in a manufacturing/FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Accounting Operations
• Handle day-to-day accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledgers, customer/vendor accounts, and bank accounts.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable activities.
• GST & Statutory Compliance
• Assist in GST compliance, including invoice verification, input tax credit reconciliation, and return preparation.
• Handle TDS-related accounting and documentation.
• Maintain records required for statutory and internal audits.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting and statutory requirements.
• Bank & Reconciliation
• Perform regular bank reconciliations.
• Track outstanding receivables and payables.
• Coordinate with banks and internal teams for transaction-related issues.
• MIS & Reporting
• Prepare monthly accounting reports and basic MIS.
• Support management with financial data and analysis.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Audit & Documentation
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required documents and schedules.
• Maintain proper accounting records, vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents.
• Ensure systematic filing and maintenance of financial records.
  
  

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, reconciliation, and general accounting.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Manufacturing/FMCG experience will be an added advantage.
  
  

Qualifications

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance) or equivalent qualification.
• Relevant experience in Accounts & Finance preferred.
