Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Account Executive role based in Rajkot. The Account Executive will manage and grow a portfolio of customers by building strong relationships, understanding client requirements, and proposing appropriate water and beverage project solutions. Daily activities include meeting with prospective and existing clients, preparing and presenting proposals, coordinating technical and commercial discussions with internal teams, and following up on leads and inquiries. The role involves monitoring sales pipelines, negotiating terms within company guidelines, and ensuring timely order closure and handover to project and service teams. The Account Executive will also track market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to support continuous improvement in offerings and sales strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in sales or account management, preferably in industrial equipment, water treatment, packaging, or related engineering solutions.
- Strong client relationship skills, including the ability to understand technical requirements and translate them into clear commercial proposals.
- Solid communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities, with comfort interacting with stakeholders at different organizational levels.
- Basic technical understanding of water treatment plants, beverage projects, or capital equipment (or willingness to learn quickly with training).
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and opportunities, prioritize tasks, and meet sales targets within defined timelines.
- Proficiency in using CRM tools, email, and standard office productivity software for reporting, documentation, and follow-ups.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field is preferred; equivalent practical experience in B2B/industrial sales will be considered.
- Comfort with field visits, plant visits, and on-site client meetings in and around Rajkot, and occasional travel as required.
